Patient consent

Before recording in clinical mode, you may need to read a patient script for the country you practise in.

Attestation

When you press Transcribe, Intelligent Consult logs that you attested consent for that session.

Your responsibility

  • Read the appropriate script for your market
  • Ensure the patient understands transcription for documentation
  • Do not record without appropriate consent where required by law
  • Take every reasonable precaution not to capture patient-identifiable details in the recording
  • Disclose overseas processing where your law requires it — our scripts and Security overview help, but they do not replace your judgement

What OLI is not

The scribe is a documentation tool. Never claim to catch what you missed or influence diagnosis.

Ask Oli looks up published criteria for you to apply. It is not a diagnosis and is not written into the note. We do not claim TGA approval.

We are built to align with the Australian Privacy Principles and GDPR. We do not claim HIPAA compliance, AHPRA product approval, or that patient data stays only in one country.
